Finish The Minute: What is it?

Finish The Minute is an exercise program that focuses on 'finishing the minute' instead of counting your repetitions.

For one whole minute you will focus on an exercise, your form, your breathing and your technique.

Each set of exercises is broken down into different rounds consisting of 4-5 alternating strength and cardio moves.

Therefore, each round is between 4-5 minutes long. You will complete a total of 3-4 different rounds resulting in a 20-25 minute full body workout.

Never worry about how many repetitions you are doing, just focus on finishing the minute!

Why 1 Minute?

The advantage of doing an exercise for one whole minute is muscle exhaustion. After completing one minute of work on a certain muscle group, such as your bicep muscles, that certain muscle group has time to recover while you are continuing to exercise by working on a different muscle group. Once that group has hit exhaustion, your next muscle group will be ready for work!

Incorporating one minute cardio elements into each round has the advantage of spiking your heart rate, allowing your body to hit it's fat burning zone. After you complete the cardio, your heart rate drops while focusing on the strength components, and it will quickly be peaked in the cardio components each time ensuring ultimate fat burn throughout the entire workout.

It's all about giving your muscles the right amount of rest and pushing them to their limit!

You'll quickly see that finishing the minute for each exercise will be one of the most satisfactory elements of your workout!
